Dressing and Grooming

Our dress during the tours to Watchtower facilities should be appropriate, modest and not reflecting the extreme styles common in the world. (1 Timothy 2:9) Therefore it is appropriate that brothers and sisters and their children should dress in meeting clothing attire. There is a lot of walking on the tour. Please bring comfortable shoes.

By applying the Bible's principle to have "soundness of mind" still leaves us with room for a great variety of personal choices. Without our saying a word, our attractive and tasteful appearance can “adorn the teaching of our Savior” and “glorify God” even while attending the Watchtower facilities (Titus 2:10; 1 Peter 2:12) The

Dressing for the Tour Bus

You will want to be comfortable during the road trip. It is suggested to wear loose fitting pants or sweats. Remember, at times we will be traveling long distances and possibly sleeping while on the road. If jeans are worn they should not have holes, no promiscuous markings, and no worn-out spots in them.

Please avoid extremely tight fitting pants and/or tops. Wearing clothes too loose fitting can also be inappropriate. Shorts, slightly above the knee and loose fitting, are acceptable. In essence, don’t wear anything you wouldn’t wear to a group gathering.
